Massive Action

What does the term "Massive Action" mean to you?

I just finished the book "10x Rule" by Grant Cardone.  The book has a lot of really good points in it, but one of my favorites is massive action.

Grant Cardone talks about the 4 Stages of Action:
  1. Do Nothing
  2. Retreat
  3. Average
  4. Massive Action
He talks about the most dangerous of the four is average action because that is what society accepts and often applauds.  Average action will give you just like it says an Average Life.

As I look at my life and my successes and failures, I can for sure see that when I have been the most successful and happy is when there was massive action in effect.

The basic concept is taking whatever you think you need to do to have success and then times it by 10 and that will be your massive action.  This can be success in your personal, spiritual and professional life.  Success means very different things to different people so you are the only one that can define what success means to you.

Recently I decided to look at massive action in my life.  I put together a list of tasks that I need to do either daily or weekly to create massive action and therefore have success.  The list was pretty long and it was tiring just looking at it, but I know that if I want to get results in my life I have to put forth massive action.  I am not going to be perfect every day, but doing something is way better than doing nothing.

I challenge you to define what success means to you and what massive action you are going to take to achieve that success.  Please comment below with how massive action is helping you.

The Purpose of This Blog

I love learning about success and potential.   It fascinates me to see successful people and what they do to be successful.  It amazes me at the level of effort and passion that goes into success.

This blog is first and foremost for me.  It is going to be a place for me to document my findings as I learn and grow and be a resource for me to go back to when needed.  I also hope that I can help some people along the way.  I have found that sometimes you just need a little direction or spark to get you going and if this blog can do that for someone I would call that a success.

I named this blog "Ascending to Your Potential" because I look at success and potential as a journey and it is like you are ascending a giant mountain.  It takes time and effort and you are constantly moving up or down to finally reach the top.  There is not only one way to reach maximum potential and with a little help a long the way we can all reach great heights.
